I'm trying to explain NFP to a friend, and with the subject of cervical height I always get confused, lol. If your cervix is high, that means it feels small, right, because the opening of your cervix is high? If your cervix is low, that means it feels long, like a super small penis, because the opening of your cervix is low, right? Or do I have these backwards?

you're right. The cervix is the neck of the uterus, so when the cervix is higher less of it can be felt in the vagina, when it's lower more can be felt. I don't ever check length though, when mine is high it's REALLY high and I can barely feel it. no need to check length, but I guess it helps explain the concept <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">
