I know that some appliances (refrigerators, for example) are much more energy efficient than they used to be, so it makes sense to replace an old one with a new one.
Is this true of dryers, as well? Ours is 15 to 20 years old, and has started to "die." My dh thinks he can fix it for about $30, but I'm wondering if it makes more sense to just go ahead and buy a new one.
