Has anyone ever split a share three ways? There are two people interested in splitting a share with us and I'm not sure how that would work. We have a family of four (the kids are 1 and 3), one of the moms also has a family of four (kids are 2 and 6 mos.) and the other couple does not have children. Since the kids are so young I suppose it could work...what do you think?

No WAY there will be enough food for three families.

We left last season for a different CSA. We'd been sharing with another family, and there was never enough of anything for a meal by sharing. We're a family of four, and the other was a family of three. My husband didn't even want to do it on our own, as the quantity was just not great.

We ended up going solo at another farm and are just SWAMPED with food. I guess...I wouldn't recommend sharing with more than one family, especially if you like veggies. There isn't enough of anything but greens to actually get a meal out of if you just share with ONE family, from what I've seen in the last few years.

rocky gardens, but they had a waiting list and are full up for the summer. I like them enough though, that I'd recommend getting on the list for next year! I have a girlfriend who is quite happy with lawrence farms, and I believe they have openings...
