hi mamas! i was hoping for a little babywearing help here since all i've used before is the hotsling, and my 3 week old has suddenly decided that he hates it, and will no longer tolerate being in it for more than 2 minutes. :
i have a mei-tai which i think he would feel more comfortable in (he likes being carried that way in arms), but i can't figure out exactly how ds's legs should be positioned?? i feel like i'm squishing his little legs when i put him in. any advice would be so appreciated!!

Keep in mind that dc has been squished for the last 9 mos

But seriously, he can go in either froggy leg style or cross-legged (bhudda-style). Read here about leg positioning.

When I would put my ds in the mei tai when he was really little I would put his legs in froggy style all tucked in. The other thing I would do (because he liked it) was to swaddle him in a blanket and then put him in that way. He tucked his legs in froggy style naturally in the swaddle so that worked out.
Have you tried different positions in the hotsling? My kids hated cradle hold, but liked sitting up.
