Okay, so I have a question

. We're just beginning to TTC this cycle, and we're going to be on a family vacation next week when I'm ovulating. Is it okay to go swimming while TTC, or could that "wash away" the sperm waiting to catch the egg? Thanks for any advice!

You can go swimming, I'm pretty sure. From everything I've read, I gather that the sperm make it up to the tubes within 5 mins to an hour.

It would have been pretty difficult to explain to my in-laws why I didn't want to swim all week while staying on a lake.
