For those who have this, do you feel you need padding on the edges? Especially for a hip carry position with a toddler?

Mine has the padding and I really like it. The padding is quite compact, maybe 1" across. I think w/o the padding the fabric would dig too much into Charlie's little legs.

I have 2 w/o the padding and one wi th it. Now that Chandra is older and I'm using the hip carry, I really prefer the padding. The ones w/o really seem to dig into her legs so much more.

i love the padding on mine. have a reversible, non-stretch and love it. i use it all the time. even with padding, fits in my purse. it is great. i think the padding is great.
