I haven't ever used EO in products before, so am trying to figure out the best way to use them. I have some (store-bought) unscented body lotion and unscented facial cleanser that I want to add scent to. Do I just add EO directly to the products, or do I need to add some other ingredient(s) as well? How many drops of EO per ounce of product? Can EO-scented products be stored in plastic bottles (the bottles the lotion and cleanser came in)?

TIA!

this page has a chart with some percentages that may be helpful.

http://www.emuszine.com/Aromatherapy...t_oct_2002.htm

and this one tells you how to calculate percentages so you can add the correct amount of EO to your lotion:

http://www.soapnuts.com/lothelp4.html

it is geared to making lotion from scratch but the formula is the same.
