It came with a little piece of material in there--is that to help absorb extra moisture? I'm not sure if I'm supposed to leave it in there or what!

Dab a little TTO on the flap, it helps to control the odor.
Yep, it's a little scent swatch. You can put some TTO, or other essential oil (sometimes I use lavendar) to help the bag not get stinky. No big deal though, if you lose it, you can use any other scrap. Or if you take it out now and don't use it at all you'll be fine too!

Oooh! Great idea by them! Love learning new stuff!
I just got my WAHMies bag and I love the idea of the essential oil swatch but if I plan on washing the bag with my diapers am I risking the EOs causing residue on my dipes? Or is that such a small amount that it wont matter? Thanks!!

I wash my dipes with EOs. No problem at all.

I always thought that was wierd! Now it makes sense, duh!
My MOE wetbag has the same thing. Now that I think of it, I should start using the TTO again now that I have a new bottle.
Yup it is for some kind of oil to help with the smell...I have never used mine though! Danni

Like a PP, I use EO's in my wash occasionally and have never had a problem. I've also always used EO in the wetbag and it's never been an issue.
