I've read about yeast problems with respect to digestion and food allergy issues, but I still don't quite understand the symptoms or treatment. So what exactly are the symptoms and when should I be concerned about yeast? In particular, I am wondering whether I have a yeast problem that is contributing to DD's food intolerances (she is EBF). And what should I do if I suspect a yeast problem? Is avoiding sugar enough?

There is also one on the traditional foods board called something like "please comment on susun weed's letter..." no time to search and link, sorry.

The book Digestive Wellness by Elizabeth Lipski has a lot of info regarding yeast and it's effect on digestion. From what she says, there are SO many different possible signs and symptoms. She has a whole questionaire to see what the likelihood is that you might be dealing with yeast problems. It's a great resource overall too so it might be worth looking into. My library thankfully had a copy. Otherwise I can't really help, I'm just delving into all this myself.
