what does the head between your ribs feel like? i know everyone probably has different experiences, but i was thinking that since we are all due around the same time...maybe i could compare. i still have some doubts as to what position this one is in. lately, she has been moving something around in my pelvis and then i feel something kinda round up high. then, it changes shape though. ugh.

please. any comments would be great.

I had a hard time differentiating between the head and the butt. Both felt like a hard coconut to me.
I'm not a good one to go by since my midwife couldn't tell, either.

When my baby was up in my ribs, I would breathe hard with little exertion. Almost wheezy. It was like he was mashing my lungs. Now that he no longer head-up, in my lungs, I can breathe more easily. And, while pregancy makes me tired in general, my breathing issues were much more marked this pregancy than either of the others (non-breech).

Also, one thing my midwife pointed out is that a head bobbles pretty easily vs. a bottom. It was definitely the case with us. That bump up there was really easy to bobble around with a little push.

Yes Ive noticed that breathless feeling with this pregnancy and I didn't have it with my last. But the rib pain is just different. For me, the rib pain was constant, and it hurt to take a deep breath. It was kind of a dull ache.

Then when my baby turned to head down yesterday. (yay!) I got some rib pain but it wasn't constant because it was more like kicks and the pain was sharp not dull. I could also kind of massage the baby's head out of that area, but with the feet, I just kept getting kicked.

I hope that helps a little bit.
