Has anyone used small Happy Heiny's on a newborn baby? I was wondering how the fit was, and if I needed to add crossover tabs to them or not? My babies have all been in the lower 8lb range, and grow like weeds.

You might be OK. ABigail at 6 months still wears a small HH and the fit is great and it is one of the first diapers that she fit into and she was less than 6 pounds when we brought her home from the hospital. One of them could habve benefited from a cross over tab but enough of the Aplix stuck on both sides to make the diaper work, its just that she had a little ridge of extra tab in the middle. But the other was just fine, just all the way closed. I don't kow the differene, but it couldn't hurt, huh? At least one.

I cant answer with a definate but I do know that you can request crossover tabs for free and they can be added for you. it cant hurt right?

oh it's not a big deal for me to add the crossovers (I have the diapers already) as I have all the supplies. I just hate to put them on there if I don't need them!!!!
