i am attempting to digest what I can from tcoyf but I'm confused on this subject; is the peak day most likely the day a woman O's or not? and question # 2, is peak day mainly defined by last day of fertile quality cm?

I'm on cd 16 and am now on day 5 (!) of super strechy cm, like 7 inches last pm and still stechy and watery looking today, so does this mean I still have not O'd??? is 5 days of fertile cm a lot? I intuitively felt that I o'd a couple days ago but now am wondering what's going on. please help. oh, as you may notice on my chart I havent done temps yet, I am new to this whole thing.

http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ttc/i...hp?interface=0

Some women do experience several days of ewcm (and I'm so jealous of your ewcm, by the way ) lots of ewcm is a very good thing. I think that O usually occurs on the last day of ewcm, because once you O your cm will change consistency. However, there are women who get ewcm after O, it just depends. Are you checking your cervix as well? That can help, TCOYF has info on that. Charting temps is the most accurate way of knowing for sure that you've ovulated. Once the temps go up and stay up, you know you've ovulated.

I hope that helps!

Oh, and to share your chart, go to your chart, go to the sharing tab, then click on home page setup, and you will see a home page link - this is what you use to share your chart.

hopefully that works!

as far as cervical position i am perplexed by that, i mean my cervical position seems to change throughout the day. right before af it is obvious that im going to get af because my cervix is super low and close to the touch. but i have had a child so it always feels open to me.

OP- I have similar questions as you. First off, I was wondering the same thing about when you actually O compared to your CF patterns. Thanx Gillian, that helped me too

Second, I also had LOTS of EWCM this cycle. I had like 8 solid days of it. I am temping, and in my case, I O'd the last day of EWCM that I had. I think that my body was gearing up to O, and it took a while. It did that last month too. I am still BFing and getting my cycles back on track. Hope that helped some. But if not, thanx for posting this, cuz it answered some ? I had.

I just chart cm and cp right now too but I also get the O pain so I noticed EW for a couple days and then it changed back to creamy and I got my O pain. So I O'd the day after my last day of ewcm. Does that make any sense? My cp is also always slightly open and it always seems to be soft too. Every now and then it's firm but more medium firm? I wonder if that has something to do with having children as well. I think next month I'll pick up temping and ditch checking cp. It seemed to be more of a hindrance then a help, KWIM.
