With my first my cycle came back at 8 weeks. 27 months of breastfeeding and I had to get it back at 8 weeks...I totally got screwed LOL!
This time I'm at 7 months and no period yet (yay!)...but I'm having a cycle of cramping every 3 or so weeks. The cramping isn't mild, it's enough to make me want to take one of my 800mg ibuprofens that I have leftover. And along with that I get the pinchy ovulation pain on my left side. That pain seems to happen more often than the cycle of cramps.
I'm wondering if anyone had cramps for a while before their cycle returned while nursing? Could my uterus just be trying to get itself started back up? Or does it sound like I might have a cyst or something? Only having the ovulation pain on my left side makes me wonder about a cyst, although I always had O pain on the left while TTC. I know I probably need to go see my OBGYN but darn it I don't want to...we have so much going on right now.
Just curious what those of you who've actually experienced a delay in the return of your cycle think!
