My girls attend daycare and never want to eat before we leave the house. Can you suggest some on-the-go nutritious recipes ideas that I can use? They don't eat much before we leave the houe and it upsets me so.

How about a kefir-fruit smoothie? There are lots of recent threads on recipes for this. If we ever have to leave quickly, we do toast w/ nut butter and a piece of fruit.

That's all I can think of. I don't have kiddos in school yet so we have lots of time to make a breakfast every morning.

I posted a similar question not too long ago, since we eat breakfast in the car 3 days a week on the way to daycare. Here is a link: http://www.mothering.com/discussions...d.php?t=405057

We tried the mini quiches and the french toast sticks, and they were both big hits.

I also make whole grain muffins and quick breads and freeze them in individual portions, too. And big batches of wheat germ pancakes - I take out two for DS and make a little sandwich out of them with yogurt cheese or cream cheese and fruit preserves between them.

I would try:

homemade muffins
fresh fruit
yogurt
toast (maybe w/ cinnamon sugar, pb, soynut butter, jam..)
granola bars

http://www.vegweb.com has lots of muffin and granola recipes. Also lots of others too. Good Luck!
