Hi ladies!

I know there is tons of knowledge in this community so I want to ask as question if you don't mind.

I got a positive HPT on Monday (6/6), and it was a stong positive (I was on day 30 of a 28 day cycle). Anyway, I've noticed one major symptom missing; sore breasts. They don't appear to have grown much; I took another HPT this morning, and it was positive before I even stopped peeing! The brand I use requires 50ml of HcG. I can't remember how long it takes for the breasts to get sore and grow, except for DD#1; they were so sore before I even found out...and they were huge! That's why I'm a little confused/concerned. Does this mean my breasts are more experienced or should I be a bit worried? Any help would be appreciated.

FYI, I weaned DD #4 approx. 2 months ago (more like she weaned herself :LOL ). Anyway, I do have lots of hunger right now; I eat and then two hours later my stomach feels hollow.

Now this is just complete speculation, but...

I read that breast tissue grows with each pregnancy. I hardly noticed any breast soreness/growth with DS and always had supply issues while nursing. This time, my breasts were soooo sore and are HUGE! Even DH comments every time he sees them. So I hope I am increasing my milk ducts, etc much more this time. Maybe after 4 pregnancies that milk duct increase slows down?

Soreness could also be hormonal and maybe the hormones are just reacting differently with this pregnancy. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Enjoy sleeping on your belly while you still can!

I wouldn't worry about it. Not every pregnant woman gets all or any of the signs. Absence of 1 pregnancy symptom is nothing to be concerned about. I also think that some signs tend to be power of suggestion too. I never had sore breasts with my first 2 pregnancies until I started going online and talking to women who were TTC, suddenly I was having sore breasts when pg and during AF though I had never had sore breasts during AF before. Since the birth of my last child my breasts no longer get sore.

I'm nursing through my second pregnancy, and I have not had sore breasts for a minute this time. The other two times, I had sore breasts, excruciatingly so, for the whole pregnany. FWIW, I'm 22 weeks now.

I think it means nothing. Oue bodies are just not in need of much in the way of breast prep right now. Good luck to you!

My first pregnancy I had very sore boobs. All the rest, I didnt really notice. Now, I am nursing still and I notice a little soreness only if Jack nurses too long. I've nursed through 2 other pregnancies and had no soreness, except for the last couple months, but that was more like annoying/irritating feeling, not soreness
I think it has to do with boobs being experienced! LOL

I had sore breasts w/ all my PGs. The only difference was my 2nd PG. I was nursing my 1st DD when I got PG. My breasts didn't get sore until a couple weeks after she weaned.

I used to get sore breasts during AF. My toddler is still nursing, and my breasts don't get sore during AF now. I imagine they will eventually get sore again once she weans. I don't mind the built-in AF alert mechanism.
