Hi there! My husband and I have decided to start the process of adopting a kiddo! Our son is 9 and while he is SO excited and the idea of having a sibling finally, he is a bit nervous and worried as to how our dynamic as a family will change. He doesn't want to lose our special 1 on 1 time. We have promised to set up dates so we will still have alone time (myself with 1 child and my husband with the other and then switch for the next time) but he's still worried. Are there any books or advice? We want to reassure him we will always love him and he will still have 1 on 1 time, etc.

Thank you!

There are definitely sibling books on adoption. Curious though, by what type of adoption do youplan to add to your family? Through DCF--foster to adopt, private adoption, kinship care, etc.? That might help target the type of book.
