My daughter just moved up a level in gymnastics. Now, she's there two hours so half way through, they take a 5 minute break so the kids can eat a quick snack. Last time I packed her 1/2 PBJ sandwich on whole grain with a cheese stick. This seemed too much for her - meaning, it wasn't too much food but she didn't have enough time to eat it and ended up cramming it down her throat at the end. She's not a very fast eater.

I looked at what other kids had but I'm not going to do fruit snacks, white flour pretzels or high sugar granola bars.

So, I'm hoping for some thoughts on a nutrient dense snack food I can make that won't take her long to eat. She's not overwhelmed by granola bars but, maybe with the right recipe I could try??? She loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches so I was thinking about trying to incorporate those flavors into a protein bar of some sort?

I'd greatly appreciate any thoughts
