I'm just shy of 12 weeks pregnant and I swear I am feeling the swooshy, fluttery feeling in my uterus. Is it even possible to feel the baby this early? I talked myself into it being gas. But it really didn't feel that way. Then I decided it must be a pulsation and that for some reason I might have just had a rush of blood to my uterus, ya know how sometimes a random part of your body pulsates? But it really wasn't repetitive like pulsating. The more I sit here and pay attention to it, the more it feels exactly like when I felt my dd moving for the first time. Only, I was 17 weeks that time!!! My placenta was up front though and they said it would take me longer than most to feel it. I hoped it'd be earlier this time, but this seems ridiculously early considering how small the baby is. What do you think?

I think it's totally possible. I'm 14w4d and have been feeling light little movements for a couple of weeks now.

Totally.

I felt all of my babies early, just intermittently.

I also can feel my placenta sometimes, that thing that is like my heartbeat in my lower belly.

I'm usually too sick still at 12 weeks to feel any fluttery movements but I'm 14 wks now and have felt some little flutters for about a week now. It's usually when I am sitting at my desk and my uterus is sort of pushed forward - I had horrible stomach/gas pains until about a week ago so was definitely not sure what it was but I'm pretty certain now. Enjoy the slight movements. Once the little one is jabbing your kidneys and ribs there will be no mistaking it- LOL. Mind you, DD1 was a super movey, kicky babe in utero and DD2 was a bit of slug. She didn't move much and just enjoyed hanging out on my sciatic nerve, making me do kick counts the entire last month of pregnancy.

I can feel the same thing and I am 12 weeks 2 days. The Dr today told me aww, it's too early... First time seeing him today, cause at my office the OB's rotate... The guy was nice but I didn't like him. Anyways, I was 16 weeks with my first baby... It feels like vibrations kind of to me, hard to explain. But I know it was movement I felt this week. Today when the Dr was trying to see if he could hear the heart beat I felt a movement, the baby was moving away; cause we heard it for a few seconds and then gone and I felt a flutter.

I am 12w2d and I swear I have been feeling something too. I know it's my first and I shouldn't be able to tell for a long time, but I have had gastro-intestinal illness my entire life, and I know what gas feels like, if ya kwim. Yesterday I was lying really still next to DH, and I felt a little flutterry tap tap tap in the same place. I know the MW will scoff at me most likely, but there's a baby in there!

I don't know how I quoted but then my response didn't show up.... ???

Anyway, yes, I have IBS and feel like somewhat of an expert on bubbles and cramps and I just know this fluttery feeling is movement. It's just exactly like the first movements I felt with DD1 and I think you all are right - I'm just gonna trust myself and enjoy it!

I definitely am feeling movement on a semi-regular basis over the last few days! I was feeling it randomly over the last few weeks but it's really starting to pick up over here! I'm so stoked :) I really like feeling the baby move, especially when I'm not showing a ton because it's kind of like a secret between me and the baby...nobody wants to touch my belly and feel him/her kick...well that's not true, but nobody is ballsy enough to do it yet! I haven't felt any kicks yet, but I've definitely felt something. It's hard to explain, (whee! just felt it now while typing!) but it's almost like the baby is turning right against the side of my uterus. It tends to be on one side for awhile and then up top or on the other side. Very awesome! I can't wait until my husband and my son can feel it too! I can't wait for kicks! I CAN wait for feet in my lungs. :p

I'm feeling it almost every day now, too... it's still pretty subtle though, and not that reassuring! I keep waiting for the nice big beefy-leg kicks that make me go, "Now THAT can't be anything else!".

DH started being able to feel baby last week. Today is 16 weeks and Ive been feeling the little kicks since 14w, flutters since week 10. Yes, we are positive of the dates and an early U/S agreed ;)

Now they are definite kicks or jabs. I feel light little jabs and bigger kicks. I love this part of pregnancy. I love learning their little personalities. DD was shy about kicking.. DH would have to rest his hand really lightly and leave it there for a few minutes even if she had been dancing up a storm before she would start up again. When he would put his head down on my belly and talk to her she would come over and kick him in the face. She has always been saucy.. even in the womb. LOL

This babe doesnt seem to mind when DH puts his hand on my tummy. Babe also seems even more active then DD. They both were/are active around the same time of day.. 10pm/bedtime and 3pm.. DD was active at 5am and would wake me up. The movements arent big enough yet to wake me up with this pregnancy but Im really hoping this one doesnt start the dance party till 8am. DD kept a very similar schedule once she arrived earthside and the 4:30-5am wakeups till she was 18 months were horrible.

Dang! I can't feel mine yet (13 weeks). I think I was 14 weeks with Ava but my uterus has decided to tip backwards so I've heard that can make it harder to feel movement in early pregnancy. I know the little bean is moving around because last week when we listened with the doppler it kept moving away from it. I hope I am feeling something by next month.
