For the last few days I've noticed that I have this weird sensation going on down there. I can't control it, it just happens on it's own. It can be anywhere from just above my pubic bone to the vulva area. It doesn't feel good or anything, it's like when you get those random muscle twitches. Except these are more subtle, and are a LOT quicker. It's like a vibrating quiver. I don't know how to explain it. I've never had this before. When I mentioned it to DH, he looked at me like I was on crack. And it's not the baby moving....
Are you sure it's not baby having hiccups? That was my first thought when I read the title of your thread. Besides that I don't think I've had any sensations like that - but I've already forgotten so much about my pg with dd, lol.
no, it's definitely not the hiccups, which I absolutely LOVE. This isn't as noticable and is a lot quicker. It's like tapping 2 fingers real lightly and real quickly over this area, from the inside. I can't feel this from the outside (whereas hiccups you can)
Hmm.. it could be just what you said - a muscle twitch. That sounds likely to me. Maybe someone else has shared that experience and will have more insight.
You know, I had a similar sounding weird quiveriness about a week or more post partum over several days. Like a shiver, down low, inside. Or a twitch, but not so abrupt - more a quiver, definately. Having them post partum I thought it was just some odd everything settling-back-into-place thing, but hearing of you having them pregnant is going to make me rethink that theory, lol. I was just as mystified by the sensation as you. It wasn't uncomfortable, but vaguely unpleasant in that uncontrolled, transient shiver sort of way.
I just had something like this happen last night! I was lying on my side trying to sleep when it happened. The baby had been bouncing around just a moment before.
