Talk about totally skewed..

Abraham Lincoln You have a Bible and a library card what more could you possibly need? You prefer the Charlotte Mason Method of reading living books for everything: historical fiction, biographies, real histories, nature guides, etc. No soon-to-be-outdated textbooks for you.

Ok I own several bibles but being more Pagan while dh is more Christian... two are historical though

Hmmm...I got unschooler, which is accurate, but some of the options didn't fit at all. Interesting!

Brandy
DP and I both took it and came out the same!

:Salvador Dali Melting clocks are not a problem in your reality. You are an unschooler. You will tolerate a textbook, but only as a last resort. Mud is your friend. You prefer hands-on everything. If your school had an anthem, it would be Dont Worry, Be Happy.

(Wasting time waiting for this slow to start labor to kick in. Send happy birthing thoughts.)
We came up as unschoolers... totally accurate for us as well. I agree that some of the choices didn't even really fit what I would do/what I am, but I can understand how that would be impossible on a quiz like that. What fun! Kristi

I got unschooler too. I always feel frustrated with those kinds of multiple choice tests, because most of the time none of the choices fit me/us! That's probably an indication that we're unschoolers right there! LOL! (But we all are actually learning how to use real bows and arrows -
)

I came up as an unschooler as well. Maybe in teaching style but not in life philosophy. hmmmm.
Very interesting, and fun quiz! I got unschooler also, but I feel more like Mr. Potato Head. :p
I'm beginning to think unschooler and completely disorganize looser are synonymous. :LOL They are for me at least!
"Mr. Potato Head You have your ideal of how things should look, but youre flexible enough to allow for change. You are not bothered by changing methods, mid-course if necessary. You use an eclectic combination of curriculum sources."

I guess thats about right...

I can't decide if that is a good or bad thing though :LOL

Unschooler is what I got. Hmmm, I can see that
First, I had a really hard time choosing answers. In most cases, there wasn't an option that seemed to suit. Second, my oldest is only 3, so I tried to picture what seemed good in the future.

Mine came in as classical homeschooler. Truthfully, IRL, I lean towards unschooling. My son is very self-directed and resistant to being directly taught. I think we'll unschool or do a watered down version of it. But I personally like the idea of a classical education, because the content is, personally, interesting to ME. I love history, love literature and always wanted to be an archaeologist. So I guess my personal biases are showing there.

and happy birthing thoughts, chfriend.
I came out as Mr. Potato Head, but I'd really rather be Galileo...it's a little more...well, dignified.

unschooler here too - but im going with completely disorganize looser
I came up an unschooler, which is interesting since that was my first choice for learning. DH, however, prefers a curriculum and we're pursuing classical education. At this point the boys are in K, so we do 45 minutes of planned learning activities a day and the rest is unschooled.

Peace,

Kimberly
I'm Mr. Potatoe Head

Five years of homeschooling and I'm still in "adaptation" mode :LOL
