Anyone have one? How you like it?

We have one for DD1. It's ok. It definitley fits a niche--it's very narrow and great for 3-across situations, plus it's great for very tall children. I'm not comfortable with DD1 RF'ing in her Marathon, but she still has loads of room (4-5 inches) before she outgrows the Radian RF'ing.

It does take up alot of room RF'ing, and there can be some issues with installing it in some cars.

We replaced our Roundabouts with Radian80s. I'm not loving the seat. I loved our Roundabouts. I would have gone with Regents but we fly and need to take our seats with us. I'm not crazy about how the harness tightens and my children can unlatch the chest clip just by barely touching it. I would definitely play with one in person before buying this seat or get it from a place with return shipping insurance just in case you need to send it back since it is a heavy HEAVY seat.

The Radian80 is only useful IMO for a small number of children. The strap slots are no higher on it than the 65, so unless your child is very heavy for thier age, the 65 will do just fine. We have one and love it as does AJ. He's 42# and only has another 2" before he'd outgrow it so there's no way he'd ever need the 80.

Ditto. The 80s are a waste of money (unless you want the covers real bad) if your kiddo is average sized. Kids almost always outgrow their seats in height before weight, and they didn't bother to make the 80s harnesses any higher.

We have the 65s and love them. It's the only option for us to get three people in our third row bench seat. The kids love them too...we did replace the chest clips with Britax chest clips, however, and get different buckle tongues. When the kids are older we'll replace the crotch strap as well (they offer a longer one on the site). The original Radians used Britax chest clips, so they were crash tested and approved with the seat. Then Sunshine Kids made their own (which I don't like, and which is why we replaced them).
