The other day, someone mentioned that there is a neighborhood in either Rancho Cucamonga or Alta Loma that goes all out for Christmas light displays. I have googled everything I can think of, but I can't find any info on it! I would love to take DD. Does anyone know where I can find this?

It's right off of the 60 in Chino, I think. You know that huge block wall that lines the 60 on the south side? I think they put that up so that during the holidays, the traffic wouldn't be a nightmare. I remember being stuck on the 60 on xmas eve as a kid, because everyone was gawking at the light displays.

I can't give you a specific neighborhood though. Sorry

I grew up in Alta Loma. When I was living there the street that did all of the lights was Thoroughbred Street. I think it's in the western part of Alta Loma, maybe off of Carnelian above 19th? It's a smallish street so I am sure you will be able to find it on a map.

yup, thats the one I'm familiar with too. off of 19th and go north on Sapphire , then left on Thoroughbred st. if I remember correctly, I havent gone up there yet this year.

I so wish my neighborhood would put a fraction of the effort in decorating, I put basic multicolored lights along my house and fence and we're the only ones on the block.
