Warning
big rant ahead

Just got in a huge argument with my husband..he's making me really really
:
I have been throwing up all day like I've got the stomach flu, but it lasts for 3 months and he came home complaining about the fact that the bathroom trash was overflowing

Here's the kicker...the trash has been full for days, I put one diaper in it today and it made it come above the rim.....

ah, that smiley makes me feel better.
If he had morning sickness he would be in bed all day compaining, nevermind watching the kids. Uh!
He does the laundry, but doesn't fold it and gets pissed when I don't..ok I'm just getting even more angry, I need to calm down my hormones and chill out for awhile..just a few more..

Sorry...I had to tell someone

I like the bang-the-guy-w/-the-hammer smiley too. Woohoo!
I would really like DH to read my Dr. Sears Pregnancy book along with me. He needs to. The other day I told him that I can't even stand to have my jeans buttoned up because my abdomen just feels bloaty and tender, and he was like "Not yet!", all matter-of-factly like he knows.
He thinks I'm just making up symptoms or something....maybe guys think that everything feels totally normal until we have a gigantic bump. Gees!

Aw, I feel your pain. That actually sounds like something my DH would pull.

I have been wanting a third child for some time now and, during "negotiations," I told him that I would be so overjoyed to be pregnant, I wouldn't take out hormonal feelings on him, etc.

Then, the other day I was kind of weepy and he says "I thought you were going to be cheery this time."
: I don't think he has any idea what being pregnant is like.

Anyway, sorry to hijack. I hope you feel better soon and resolve this bump in the road with DH. I'd be pissed too.

Hahaha Peacelovingmama, your dh and mine are peas in a pod! Same here, in 'negotiations' I may have said that I'd try not to let my pregnancy mess up our little world, and then the other night I was feeling realllly rough, and irritated at the kids too, and like I just NEEDED TO SIT STILL AND HAVE QUIET FOR 5 MINUTES!! And he says "if this is what it going to be like the next 9 months I don't know why we got into this"!

I commited psychic murder.

But then later he half heartedly apologized and now I love him again. But seriouly, men!

I love the "psychic murder"

Ooh, men should come equipped with shock collars..

My husband quickly changed his attitude, took out the bathroom garbage and kissed butt...he knows it's useless to fight with a pregnant woman..I love him, couldn't make babies without him...I guess maybe now I should apologize for yelling at him and asking him if he "wanted to battle" (in an argument because I can always run circles around him)...how dumb was that?

OMGoodnes, peacelovingmama and wanderinggypsy, I could have typed those posts.

During our negotiations, I was talking about how I love being pregnant. Now that I feel incredibly, incredibly sick all the time, dh is like, "I thought you loved being pregnant, right?"

Why doesn't he get it that I can love being pregnant and hate being sick?

imosbc-I could write a gajillion threads like yours. The latest is that after I folded a ton of laundry and had to leave, I asked dh to put it away so the kids wouldn't mess up the nicely folded piles. So, this morning, when I went to get the kids dressed, he had just put all of the clothes in one drawer! Why would I seperate everything if I just wanted it to all be thrown together? Can he not see that SHIRTS go with SHIRTS, PANTS with PANTS, etc??? What gets me is that he talks about how his work station is so organized..........but he can do the same at home? WTF?

Sometimes, they're more trouble than they're worth.

Ok, not really, but gimme a break.
