My 8 month old dd gets this red bumpy rash under her eyes and around her mouth. it comes and goes, sometimes redder sometimes almost gone. I cant pinpoint what it is! Its been going on about a month and a half now.

I was thinking maybe a food allergy? But, she is not showing any other symptoms of allergic reaction (no upset stomach, no vommitting, no crankiness) and the rash isnt anywhere else. Does anyone have any ideas?

My dd gets a rash around her mouth when she has dairy without any other symptoms of allergy. It took me about a year to figure it out, but the rash was gone within 2 weeks of stopping dairy and she only gets it now when she has dairy. It could deffinately be a food allergy, even without other symptoms. Our skin can tell us a lot about what's going on inside our bodies that we might not be aware of. It could even be an allergy to something like laundry detergent, or your perfume (if you wear it). It can be so hard to pinpoint these things, best of luck!
