such is the case with my ds. Why would he lose his voice or more correctly, it was just pretty raspy, then a whole week goes by then he gets a fever and a cough. Now he is sick. I am thinking its just a cold- runny nose, low grade fever, coughing. He seems his normal self, he isnt acting like he feels horrible.
I guess I'll try some teas and some rubs for the congestion? But I guess I'm mostly confused about the voice and the illness being so far apart.
Thanks for listening and if you have any suggestions I would love to read them.

My thought was that the raspy voice was caused by sinus drainage and then it all settled in his chest and now his body is fighting it with the fever and balancing itself, hence the runny nose.....?

hmmmm, that is quite possible, thank you! Where in Kauai are you? My family is all in Kalihiwai, and spread out in other places.

We live in Kapahi.....for just over a year now. We also lived on the Big Island years ago. I am still adjusting to this summer time heat! Looking forward to winter again
Blessings for your ds's healing. Are you giving him anything yet? I tend to let colds ride themselves out with plenty of liquids and moisture, although if it lingers past your or his comfort zone, you might want to consider Sodium Ascorbate Powder.
