I thought I might get more answers posting in this forum than in any others. I'm trying to find raw/unpasteurized milk without having to take a train out to the countryside. I've heard that sometimes there's sellers at Islington and Notting Hill markets. Anyone had any luck finding raw milk in the city?

You may want to start by ringing your local co-op dairy: ours (Essex) does green top. Failing that, try the independent health food shops.
Does Neals Yard Dairy (mostly cheeses) stock it, does anyone know? They'd be worth a phone call too.

www.seedsofhealth.co.uk is a good place to look for suppliers of raw milk in the UK. According to them Olive Farm do the following in London:
Islington 1st and 3rd weeks 10 - 2pm (Essex Road, opposite Islington Green)
Notting Hill Gate 8.30 - 1pm (Car park behind Waterstones)
Marylebone 10 - 2pm (Cramer Street Car park just off Marylebone High Street)

Rowan Tree Goat Farm also attend the following Farmers' Markets: Beaconsfield, Hemel Hempstead, Prestwood, Tring, Uxbridge, Islington, Marylebone, Notting Hill, Ealing, Swiss Cottage and Wimbledon. They appear to supply raw goats' milk with advance warning.

Hi, if you are in London then you can get raw organic jersey milk home delivered directly from the farmer. The farmer's name is Keith (dont know his last name) and his phone number is 0796 770 8220. I get it delivered to me here in Ealing (West London).

Awesome, thanks! Do you know if he delivers outside of west London? I'm in Tower Hamlets.

I believe that there's someone at Blackheath farmers market that also sells raw milk, but I haven't been over there yet to check.

I think that legally raw milk may only be sold by the producer. So it would have to be a market or delivery; stores can't sell it.

ETA: yes, that's the law in ENgland and Wales. Raw milk has been illegal in Scotland since 1983.
