Hi,

I love the look of rayon thread for edging blankets - both topstitched and serged. However, I have read that rayon thread doesn't hold up well to frequent washing and the colour can fade. Since I am making baby blankets, frequent washing is a factor.

Anyone have any experience? I am hoping to hear that rayon thread does hold up.

I'm glad to hear that about the thread. I guess I will just make a blanket for my own children and use it as a tester.
