Has anyone experienced skin reactions to their homemade detergents?

I recently made some using Borax, Washing Soda (A&H) and a bar of soap (Clear& Pure from Melaleuca). I haven't noticed a reaction on DH,DD1 ot myself, but DD2 seems to have a wicked case of infant acne. I'm thinking it is from the new stuff...

Any thoughts? Any similar experiences?

Our homemade detergent gave my baby terrible diaper rash. I'm not sure if it didn't get things clean enough or if it was a reaction to one of the ingredients...he had a similar reaction to laundry soaps like Charlie's too, which is basically like the homemade recipes. I had to go back to using liquid detergent.
