I'm not super into politics or anything, but I am super full of hormones right now and this news is almost bringing me to tears right now, I'm fighting them back and there's a lump in my throat.

They showed a clip of her on a special recently saying "cancer doesn't care if you have young children," and I know that is all too true and my mom had (and beat) breast cancer herself, but it's so hard to think this could just as easily be ANYONE else...gah. I'm so sad!!!

I read the new as well and I think it is terrible that she had to go through so many things in her life. But I am sure she was not afraid of death. All mother who have lost a child lose their fear of dying (I did for sure). She knew her son would be waiting for her.

What is terribly hard is that she had such young children and I am questioning the role the hormones she was given to have 2 more children in her late 40s. For some reason I believe that they might have wrecked havoc on her body and might have even caused her hormone sensitive breast cancer.

I feel so very sorry for her children!

I was very weepy yesterday in general, mostly about good things. Our best friends are adopting a baby, being born sometime this month. Hooray!! and then waterworks about it. I found the most amazing blessingway/shower birth art for a baby shower I'm hosting next week. Major cry session and relief over that. And then when I heard Elizabeth Edwards died, I just started right in again. It was a draining day!
