That is crazy, because I just talked to my SIL. She has a 20 mo dd who is a crib sleeper (among other things
: ). Anyway, just a few days ago, her dp said the baby was suddenly screaming in severe pain in the crib. Her legs had gone through the rails and I guess she somehow bent it the wrong way trying to get out. She was taken to the ER and no broken bone, but she couldn't walk on it for DAYS. She went back for more xrays of the ankle, foot, leg, but still no fracture. It was nearly a week before she would walk on it again.

Yup. Another reason to co-sleep.
