I am a lousy cook. So, I was thinking I would try to get some easy recipes: 5 ingredients or less and 10 minutes or less preparation...

I can start!

4 chicken legs or whole chicken in quarters
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup Manachewitz wine (or another sweet grape wine)
sprinkle of Marjoram
1 bay leaf

Throw above in roasting pan and cook at 375 for 2 hours (you can even set the timer and go out!). May need a little time uncovered to come to a golden brown. Takes approximately 5 minutes to make. DELICIOUS! I usually toss a couple yams or sweet potatoes wrapped in foil in the oven with them and all of it is done at the same time.

Anyone else? Help!

ooh sounds good.

BBQ chicken

chicken breasts
bottle of BBQ sauce

Throw these into a crockpot leave it alone when chicken is done fork shread it and put it into rolls

This is great in the winter when the bbq is under a foot of snow.

I went to SU for my master's -- and i recall making bbq ribs in the crockpot there in the dead of winter! that and ordering in from cosmo's

anyway, back on topic -- quinoa, steamed/wilted swiss chard, and tahini sauce. delish! if you can't buy the sauce ready-made you will need a few more ingreds but not many -- salt, garlic, lemon, tahini paste, and water. also the quinoa takes about 20 minutes. but still an easy one.
