Hiya,

My baby is starting pre-school part time and desparately wants a lunch box, "Now, Mama, can I have one now?!!!"

She wants a Dora one, but I want a good one. Preferably a bag, not a box, and insulated. Do any of them still come with a thermos? Where do you get a thermos for a kid's lunch bag? Not at Walmart, please - we don't shop there.

I know there was a Mothering feature on lunch bags a little while ago, but I can't find it.

And, it has to be cute, or she'll refuse it.

THANKS!!

We love love love our eco-friendly, lead free lunch bags that we got at Reusable Bags. They also keep food cool, which is nice because a lot of preschools, camps etc. don't refrigerate or take a looooong time getting the food from the drop-off bin into the refrigerator.

Edited to add: my dd has the butterfly print, which is very cute and she loves it!

While you're at it, check out these awesome reusable sandwich wraps. I love them -- very easy to wipe clean -- and my kids get a kick out of them. Plus they provide a nice clean "placemat" at the lunch table.
We have the EcoPrint which is really cute and they are free of the "bad" plastics.

I was going to suggest looking online as well. I wouldn't buy from Walmart or other dept stores either. I've also seen them at stores such as Sports Authority and Dicks sporting goods. Good luck!

Google "laptop lunches". They are so cool, but a bit pricy. They also have a TON of lunch ideas for your little one.
