Ok, I am not sure exactly when the first one appeared, but it was around age 2-DD is now 6yo. Let me mention DD was also vaccinated (I now regret it.) Anyway, on occasion she got a weird (scally red circle on her butt cheek or hip. The spot would lasts for months or longer. At one point (over a year) the spot would go almost unnoticeable and a series of bedwetting would accour, followed by some type of virus/cold. After the bedwetting the spot would liyterally grow into a rash on her backside (entire) or hip, wherever it had been present... Doc dismissed it, she was refeerred to a dermatoligist but it was gone before the appointment (3 months later-bad insurance) and even a urologist who thought my Doc was insane for sending me too him-I agreed but was desperate. Anyway, it has been over a year-the last spot "dried" up and had no trace and today she points a large spot -scaly and circular-on her hip. It's back. No bedwetting now or cold either. This time I put some tea tree oil on it.

Anyone have any idea? As mentioned at age 3, almost 4 she had HSP, but that has a bursted blood vessel rash on the backside, but it is auto immune-could it be related. Any ideas?

Any input is more than appreciated!

Hmmm...never thought of that. I just did a web search and found some great sites of photos of diseases, fungi, etc.!

Maybe ringworm but would the rash growth come and go in a day? And I can find no info. stating it is related to other illnesses 9no lie, DD already started a cough since its appearance!!)

I guess if the tea tree oil works, it may be it. DH hasa similar fungal problem (has for years, comes back btwn treatments...) and she may use his towels on occasion....
