I am a germ freak, I admit it. can I feed dd cold chicken? if not, what's the best way to reheat it?

it's a government site so of course it's going to be overly-strict (and what's up with not recommending baby food under 8 months???) but they said chicken has to be reheated and served within 24 hrs.

Those are some seriously strict guidelines! I feed my child leftovers that are a lot older than 24hrs

I have a three day rule. Unused baby food is thrown out after the third day.

I think that article is overy strict. Most chefs and foodies say that leftovers are good for up to a week.

Uhhh what about poached chicken for salads? I always chill that in the fridge. I think as long as it was cooked properly the first time, that should be enough- unless its been sitting around for a week or something.
