For christmas presents, I want to batik or otherwise dye cloth napkins for people. Because of this, I'm looking for a way to get the napkins fairly inexpensively, because I want to do a lot of them. Organic would be lovely, I think, but I guess when it comes down to it, there are budget constraints.

By the way, anyone know how well Hemp holds dye?

If you have a sewing machine, I think the most economical would be to get some fabric from near sea naturals (even though they are so expensive, they have a good fabric selection) and make your own.

I know Frontier has organic hemp napkins form Ecolution but I think they are O/S.
