I had dandruff early pregnancy which went away on its own after a few weeks so I kind of just assumed that it was caused by hormones.
Now I have it again (since 6 wks post partum, I'm now 8wks PP).
I'm breastfeeding so I need something safe for baby too.
Any suggestions?

My husband has scalp issues and we found a great shampoo...Prairie Naturals Big Sky tea tree medicinal shampoo...it says it is "deep cleansing for oily hair, dandruff & scalp irritations." We got it at the health food store. You could also go into your local health food store and ask them...they are usually really helpful in pointing you in the right direction.

From Natural Health magazine: Blend 10 drops of tea tree, eucalyptus, peppermint, or bergamot oil with 1 ounce of jojoba or sweet almond oil. Massage for 5 to 10 minutes before showering. For a leave-in anti-flaking treatment, mix a small amount of witch hazel with a little mouthwash and rub into your scalp after shampooing, conditioning, and towel drying. Then dry and style as usual.
