Today I was thinking about how in high school band every year we'd all turn in slips of paper with "remember when's" written on them, and a list of memories would be compiled. I thought it would be fun to have a thread of diapering remember when's. I'll start:

Remember when.... Honeyboys were going for $80 at Wahmall?

I rememeber when Mosaic Moon had soakers sitting instock
I also rememeber the reservation list for diaper gardens at Fuzbaby (I passed that up...doh!) and the fairly short waiting list for ElBees. I remember when Sugarpeas, Righteous Baby, and Fireflies were nearly impossible to get your hands on. All of my "memories" are only about 2 years old...things change very quickly in the wahm diapering world. I actually see ElBee diapers sit on the TP for a few days before selling!

Remember when LoriG owned Sugarplumbaby? That was you, wasn't it? I still have some of your wares!

FB and HH were the only pocket diapers you could find? And 'Rubber Pants Sue' would spam to buy any vinyl pull-ons you had? :barf:

and people fought over them at mothersnature auction site. I think the highest one went was $67 back in 1999.

Oh and most diapers were made with flannel and were $8-$12 for the large size. Then along came knits and the prices went up and then hemp and the prices when higher, then all these organics and higher. :LOL

Maybe it is time we all went back to flannel?? Nah! Then you would not have boutique diapers and only basic run of the mill diapers.
