We have cheap polyester carpet upstairs. We need to replace it, but it is going to happen for a few months.

Jett just managed to poop on the carpet, having saved up for a few days
and in getting him to the bathroom, we dripped poo a few more times.

Any advice? I tried Spot Shot, a carpet cleaner we had here. Didn't work very well. And, besides, what marketing guy named it that?!?! And, how did it get past the board? Didn't they ever hear of shot spot? You couldn't convince me that it wasn't intentionally named and slipped past the higher ups.

Ooo, simple green is some scary stuff. And, we have cloth baby wipes.

hmmmm.....I was thinking maybe vinegar and baking soda would foam it up.

I've had success with plain water & blotting. And water and blotting. And more water and blotting. :LOL Light cream carpet, and I didn't get it ALL the way up, but the slight yellow faded to nothing over a week or two just being exposed to sunlight through the window.
