dd is 8m. we practice ec on good days. lately she has been taking off her diaper after she poos!? does anyone have or had a baby that did this. just thought this was an odd behavior. please share. thanks

I took my babe to the grocery store on a 100+ degree day to pretty much get out of the heat. She was wearing a shirt and a BSWW with a pf in it. I was talking to the cheese lady and turned around to find dd waving her wet pf in the air with the Bummis still underneath her. She had undone the aplix and pulled the pf out. I was pretty embarrassed and got to the br as fast as possible to fix it.

My oldest little girl did this, starting at about that same age. She wore cloth at home but disposables while we were out. I had to put the disposables on backwards so she couldn't undo the velcro. Eventually this didn't work either. It's worth a shot though. Messy....but..Smart kid though!

LOL-we use bum genuis and if she is only wearing a diaper, forget it...it comes right off and she is 11 months. I think it's pretty normal!

My kids both do/have done this. I pretty much have to keep pants on them if I don't want to risk it.

it's hot so we're keeping ds in just a diaper, but he has to have shorts on over it or off it comes!
such a smart baby.

ds will undo one tab if he is in the mood, but otherwise he doesnt care about them.....now getting him to sit still long enough to put it on him.....

dd#1 did something like this around that age, but she stopped. For a week or two we couldn't leave her in a velcro cover without anything else on, she would surely take it off. She never got a snap cover off though
