i made the mistake of parking a jogging stroller outdoors for a while, and it has some stains that appear to be mold. regular scrubbing with soap or a cleanser with citrus did not do anything.

ideas? thanks!

I, unfortunately, had the same problem with our Burley bike trailer.
DH freaked out!! We lived in the Pac. NW and literally I had mold and mildew after I parked it in our garage for 2 days and forgot about it. The only thing that finally worked for me was tilex mold and mildew remover. I diluted (1-3 ratio) it some and tested it in a unseen area (to test color fastness) it was fine to I used the rest of the mixture. It took 3 good cleanings and soakings but if finally worked!!! Make sure you dont leave it on too long or it could eat the fabric? I would soak the material let sit 10 minutes and throughly rinsed. I did this outside in the driveway. let dry and then repeated each step.

(i have to say i'm glad i'm not the only one...we have little $ and i feel embarassed that i did not take care of a pricey piece of equipment.)

Yah basically bleach will work best. So if it comes to that spray it with a dilute solution of bleach (better than throwing the whole thing I think).

Can you remove the fabric or is it attached? If you can remove it I would try soaking it in vinegar, lemon juice, bac out, and sunning it (don't soak will all those things at once- try one at a time).
