No, it isn't my rental, I rent in the same building; moved in recently. But, a while back, while looking for places to rent and feeling a little lost because we had been out of T.O. for quite a while, I posted and got a lot of nice replies. I thought I would "return the favour" or sort of... just in case someone is looking for a rental.
It's a 2 bdrm. in a very small (5 unit) building with inside laundry (albeit expensive, but there are others close by). The best part is it's a quiet residential neighbourhood, very much family oriented. It's an old Italian area with many new young families moving in. It's close to the shops on the Danforth/Coxwell/Greenwood area, close to various schools (including French Immersion & French) and a great park w/outdoor pool. And close to subway, downtown, the Beaches, Greektown, etc. The unit for rent has been recently renovated of sorts (it's got a cute balcony) but it's definitely not luxurious or anything. It's pretty decent though for the price. You'd have to talk to the landlord and since I don't want to put his number up here, send a PM (priv.msg) if interested and I'll pass along his number. As far as I know the place is only advertised for rent on the window. But I think it would be a nice place for a young family, single parent, etc.
