I think I am awesome. I am now retired, after five years and two months of uninterrupted nursing, most of which was tandem.<br><br>
I gave the not-so-wee ones a little nudge at the end. I'm keeping them very busy. And I wonder how long until I fully stop lactating. I don't think my body remembers how to <i>not</i> make milk.<br><br>
I am so happy for me! Nursing never felt like something I didn't want to do, for years and years, and all of a sudden, this week, I realized that I didn't want anyone else up my shirt. I told them I didn't want to nurse anymore, and that we could do one last session for as long as they wanted.<br><br>
Crossing my fingers for no backslides!
