As a photo manipulator, I'm not just annoyed that they're falsifying photos for the news, but doubly annoyed that they're doing such a crappy job of it.

Apparently, this photographer, Adnan Hajj, was outed again and has been fired by Reuters. Not coincidentally, he is one of the photographers who supplied pictures of Qana, and they are finding a lot of inconsistencies in that story as well!

I'm another photoshopper that, like some of the others on here, took one look at the photo in question and knew it was photoshopped. Not only that, it was a really bad job. It doesn't take that much to make a good fake- looks like someone got lazy or overconfident.

No kidding. Copy over some smoke, set layer mode to "darken", fade edges out, and presto!

I'm particularly bothered that there is controversy in this photog's past also.
While it has been shown that he has doctored other photos as well.

Most disturbing is evidence that the bodies of children are being moved and manipulated for dramatic effect in staged photos.

Am I that naive to think that anyone would even consider abusing or altering photo's (of dead children) to portray something that really isn't true.

The same woman, in front of two TOTALLY different buildings, each of which is supposedly her residence.
Either she has a vacation home in addition to her regular Beirut home, she's been photoshopped in, or she's been posed.

I don't know what's going on either. Something fishy. These things are not adding up. Why would bodies have rigor mortis after being dead for an hour? I am not saying that Qana is faked. I am saying that I cannot trust the news coming out of that region. AP and Reuters are both buying whatever photos from freelance journalists and they apparently cannot be trusted. This whole thing is pretty sick.
