Rhogam shot anyone?

657 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  KarenEMT
I am RH- and had this shot during my pregnancy with my first baby. I'm much more informed now about vaccines and have done some of them with my son on a delayed schedule. It got me thinking about whether this shot is actually safe to do during pregnancy... Anyone have any insight to share on this subject? TIA

Hi Vanilla,

I'll look forward to your reply. I'm thinking this is going to be just one more thing to debate with my doc... Whenever you have a chance, my appt. is April 5 and this shot is part of it. TIA

If your baby is negative like you (my DS#2 was), then there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to receive Rhogam.
