Hi ladies,

I'm planning to make a couple of ring slings: one with some bargain dupioni silk I picked up on ebay, and the other with some leftover organic interlock from another project.

My question is about choosing the appropriate rings for each sling. What material would work best with each fabric (aluminum, nylon, etc), and what size do you recommend?

I'm guessing that the rings that would work best with the lighter dupioni will be different from the rings for my heavy, stretchy interlock.

Thanks,
All of the slings that I have used have aluminum rings. I don't care for plastic. I think the size of the ring is important regarding how much fabric needs to fit through them. Some really nice slings (oopa, etc) have larger rings and I think it helps the fabric lay better. sorry for the nak
