I have found a ringworm on my back and I believe there is another one on my hairline by my forehead. I believe it came from our cat and I was hoping to find a homepathic remedy. Any help is appreciated! Oh and the cat is being treated!

:
Rigworm is not really a worm it is a fungus, (think athletes foot)some things you can do are
tea tree oil
drink pau darco tea
put apple cider vinegar on it
TTO, if the ringworm gets into your scalp and in the hairline, TTO will no longer work. DD1 had a nasty case of ringworm in her hair last fall from her cat, i didn't know that once ringworm gets in the scalp, it goes down in the hair follicle and topical treatments are not effective anymore. I kept using TTO for weeks trying to get rid of it, she ended up with this huge bald, red golfball sized spot on her head, it was really nasty. I had to take her in for oral antifungals, I really hated to get to that point, but she was starting to develop a keloid, and that can lead to permanent hair loss. Her hair is just finally starting to grow back.
After the fact, i bought some of this for me, because my ringworm was hanging around with even using the TTO. http://www.fungrx.com/?gclid=CLKC5pbE8ooCFRZsWAodEBKrqQ The ringworm disappeared quickly, and it says that it can used for scalp ringworm.
Using a shampoo with selenium sulfide like Selsun can help as well. Although DD1's was so bad that nothing but the antifungals made a difference. Good luck.
i am just coming on to say i tried sooooooooo many natural things and ringworm is just one of those things i will always resort to OTC drugstore remedies for, unfortunatly. but i hope it works for you.
