The most important thing you can give your child is the colostrum [the particularly nutritious milk produced in the first few days after birth] and then breast milk. That's the best start you can give anyone in life.<br><br>
I understand some women can't breastfeed for medical reasons and that's fine, but if you're fully capable, then I certainly think it's something that should be tried.<br><br>
You can't think about vanity, it's about your baby. They need every bit of nutrition possible, so while I might go up for a second serving of food, it will be a second serving of fish and vegetables.
