I decided to try probiotics, so I went out and bought some. Well, I forgot to put it in the fridge
So it sat out for THREE days. Do I have to throw them out and buy new? I don't really want to be so wasteful.
Are they really useless now?
Thanks

I wouldn't throw them away. It is possible that they have lost some potency, but (personally) I would stick them in the fridge and forget about it. They will still be beneficial.

probably hasn't effected them one bit... for example I use Yogourmet yogurt starter, which is powder stored at room temp, and never had a bad batch yet.

Depends on how they were freeze dried, how long they will last. But room temp is fine, dont worry unless they got over 120 degrees
