I know we've discussed this in the past, but...how much is everyone drinking right now?

I'm just now starting it regularly at 36w4d because I didn't want to do anything to cause pre-term labor since I had dd early. I'm thinking of drinking 3 cups a day using 2 teabags/cup. I'm also planning on preparing a couple of the suggestions from the tribe thread in the I'm Pregnant forum. One was a super concentrated RRL mix for at the onset of labor. And then another is mixing the tea with OJ and freezing it into popsicles for during labor. Which sounds absolutely yummy since I adore popsicles AND OJ. :

And...what other supplements are you all taking now since it seems most of us are past the point of GBS protocols and all of that. I take:
Prenatal x1
Vitamin C 2000mg/day
Cranberry pills x3 (it was a urinary infection that caused my pre-term labor with dd, so I'm taking no chances!)

I was drinking iced RRL until I ran out. I haven't been to get any more b/c the store is 45 min away. I take one EPO at night if I think about it and usually my liquid cal/mag (it helps me sleep and may help my heart).

I also take zantac, but that's not a supplement, just so I don't breathe fire, and colace.

I make a large pitcher of RRL iced tea and drink as much of it as I remember each day, but every day is different. My goal is to drink it at least once a day. I also take:

vitamin C - 3000 mg, sometimes more if I drink Emergen-C also.
acidophilius - once or twice a day, depending on whether I remember to take the second dose.
EPO - orally, usually at night, although I may increase it, for cervix ripening reasons. I take it for unrelated reasons.
cranberry - 4 pills, 3 times a day.: I keep having nagging paranoid feelings about UTI's, so I'm taking it just in case.
garlic - one clove a day

I'm waiting for my calcium/magnesium supplement to come in the mail, and then I will be taking that too.

I've read that cal/mag slows contractions. Did I imagine this?

I have no idea. I'm taking it because this pregnancy has trashed my teeth and I'm freaking out about it. I really doubt that taking a supplement will prevent my baby from being born. The same way I don't think any supplements will *make* me go into labor.

Cal/mag does decrease unecessary ctx, but my midwives said it wouldn't prevent/stop real labor. I started taking it for my irritable uterus and it really helped me sleep. I still have BH regularly. Also, most ppl don't get enough mag and that is supposed to help with heartrate/arrhythmia issues.

I was wondering about that! Oddly enough I noticed when I take my magnesium supplement, my ctx are more powerful and "real" than just the random BH tightening. Maybe it's just b/c I'm more relaxed? s:
