What is the safest bike seat for a one year old? or is a trailer safer? this would be for city riding in bike lanes with a helmet...also, should I be posting in the toddler forum or here in life with a babe?

We decided on a trailer although I think a bike seat (one in the front between you and the handlebars) seems like more fun. They both have pros and cons on safety but for me, the trailer seemed safer because I'm not that great of a rider.

IMHO trailer is safer, however with city riding it might be easier to have your LO closer to you on the bike.
